The department
The Corporate Responsibility (CR) department supports Ahold’s mission to help our customers choose the best for themselves. We do this by observing and analyzing social developments and trends and translating them into relevant information and where possible into inspiring consumer choices. Within the CR department we focus on the following activities:
- Healthy Living
- Sustainable Trade
- Climate Action
- Community engagement
The assignment
- Implement projects for the CR department related to one of the four activities.
- Analyze the current CR reporting process and make recommendations for the next report.
- Analyze and make recommendations for research through insights provided by Sustainability Research Institutes.
Requirements
- Analytical capabilities absolutely necessary and being able to work with Excel.
- Highly flexible, able to take the initiative and work independently.
- Ability to adapt to different nationalities and authority levels;
- International experience is a plus.
- Preferred educational background is in Business, or International Management.
- Interest in, and passion for, food, retail, sustainability and business ethics.
